The Post House
The Post House is a monumental piece of Jonesville History. As an effort to preserve this piece of history, we would like to take you on a little trip back through time to see the evolution of the historic Jonesville Post House.
- 1906
The Post House was erected back in the early 1900s. This picture on the left shows the post house as it was being completed.
- 1927
In 1927, the city of Jonesville faced a massive flood. The Post Office fell victim to the high floodwaters. Here you can see men traveling to the Post House by boat to continue moving mail despite the high waters.
- Today
The picture on the right shows The Post House today. She still stands in all her glory despite the years of challenges faced.
She now welcomes you into her doors, not as a functioning Post House, but as a beautiful historic home that is perfect for all of your gathering and event needs.
